well yesterday was the MENDAKI 25th anniversary cum awards presentation
yeah finally got my cheque haha
well i had to wait almost 8 hours for it
4 hrs of rehearsal on saturday
with the actual event taking about 4hrs yesterday.

wah the whole night
i was sitting in this table swarmed by VJC-ians and TJC-ians.
red and green blazers while they were only 2 brown ones.
lol.

listened to PM Lee speech
haha quite interesting.
dinner was horrendous.
shall not elaborate further.
after dinner took group pic with PM Lee
sad thing i didnt order the photo
zzz...wasted.

the whole event made me thought of something.
am i losing touch with my cultural roots?
i dun look forward to ml events.
i dun have much ml friends.
i felt out of place when i see others talking with their friends, while i stood alone in the corner yesterday night.

nah.
it's my own fault.
for alienating myself from ppl of my own race all these years.
after a series of bad events in primary school
i refused to change my perception.
and now I know,

THIS IGNORANCE CAN COME BACK TO HAUNT ME IN THE FUTURE.

oh whatever. life moves on.

anyways,
today went school for supposedly an AVA General Meeting
but so many ppl pon...
quite expected...
managed to collect my ava shirt
then helped the ava couple with some NIE rehearsal...
then after that decided to mug with yongkit, wanyin and serena.
