time for an update!
Well, I am still slacking la...
but at least start to absorb a bit la...
and touch tutorials...

0722 has been quite a fantastic class
Quite united la...
today most of us played basketball and soccer
Quite fun
Then yesterday some of us do hw together also and crap haha
PE also had fun together, got CLASS SPITIT :p

and i was appointed CHEM REP :X lol...
and complete memorising all my classmates' names

I decided to join ODAC
I am now an ODAC-ian mwuhaha
I like how we ODAC members cheer each other on
when we were doing tough physical training,
dehydrating
and tired.

Well, life in nyjc is quite fun, but i must stop slacking and get back to the books...
ppl think i guai-kia do tutorials, but haven't really start mugging
I'M SERIOUS :p

TMR NY SPORTS CARNIVAL! Looking forward to it! GO 0722! GO GRIFFIN!

ok time to blog...
the past two days was day-camp organised by NY
where i get to know my new classmates from 0722

Thurs:
came around 7.35am and met some ZHSS ppl. Only saw some of my 0730 PAE classmates, and some AJ ppl who appeal back to NY. Then, being in the GRIFFIN house, proceeded to MPR at 8am. Then the morning lecture and mini games started at 9.00am. Sat with my class, but we were splitted into two teams per class for convenience sake. Got to know my classmates better. Managed to make some friends very fast. That's what make me appeal back to NY: NY ppl have a friendly culture, sth AJ lacks.8 boys and 19 girls. Not all came though lol.

Then in the afternoon played some games. We didn't get to play CONQUEST, which was a sad thing lol. Played some game called MATRIX. then, since we observed an earlier round, our team decided to memorise where to take the steps. To our disappointment, an angmoh facilitator said she suspected foul play...wah lau...not fair la...it's like other teams also memorise, and she said earlier, "Learn sth from the 1st few teams that played"...dots

Fri:
usual thing...morning lecture..played some mini games again. Not bad la, our class decided to merge since many ppl ponned...then earn quite a number of pts. My class is cooperative, and I think 0722 will be a gd class. End of the day, my team fiinished top5 among other griffin teams. Then afternoon got AMAZING RACE. quite lame la...our team actually finished quite fast...THEN LAST STATION, we supposed to pick a CHANCE card (for every station)...bad luck fell upon us...we supposed to wait then merge with another team from Griffin. Then wait so long la b4 we can officially finish the race...zzz...

Then since we got free time, a few Griffin-ians decided to play floorball in the MPR. Damn fun and enjoyable lol...sweated in the air-con room LOL. then it got too dangerous as sticks flew all over , the ball keep hitting ppl and ppl's legs were getting whacked. Then decided to play soccer with the small floorball ball. LOL. Team Zhonghua (alex, me, yongcheng, shiqi, xinying)+ 1 extra versus some other griffin-ians. Then the other team were confusing the extra member, "EH, ZHONGHUA HERE!" then she kept passing to the other team LOL. At the end, we were outnumbered, (the other team got 3 extra male players), and lost 1-4 lol.

Then was prize-giving. Everyone was not expecting Griffin to win..., but we were best house in Conquest and Matrix! Dragon won best house in amazing race, and phoenix had the best of the best teams. then when the best overall house were announced, we were like saying "Griffin !" jokingly. THEN IT WAS TRUE! GRIFFIN WON! WOOT! everyone in griffin got a lollipop LOL.

Ok, next thing I want to talk is the sale of uniform...the supplier really sucks man, thurs no stock , then wait till friday only got pants, so must come on sat. bought size 38, which was still quite big! they say few ppl wear 36 , so they dun want manufacture anymore. WTH man...now i got a baggy uniform, dam sucky leh...FEEL LIKE KILLING THE SUPPLIER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, that's all i want to say. march holiday ending and i felt that i had no holiday at all. still havent finish catching up with chem...but heng got bridging lessons on the 1st day of school. I hope to get to know my new classmates better (still dunno a lot of names coz no icebreakers lol) when sch reopens!

I am officially an...NYJC-ian!
Yeah I decided to appeal back...
AJ sucks la
the orientation programme was bullshit...
games catered to 1st-intakers...
boring games...
almost no icebreakers...
ogfs fail to whip up the mood...
(not to insult my own OGFs, they's quite ok)

the 1st intakers also mix around among themselves only
talk a lot among their own, rarely talk to 2nd intakers
but my og still quite okok la
although the above still apply...
that left me to talk with fellow 2nd intakers...
met 4 new friends that i always talk with...

by yesterday i cannot tahan aj anymore
i decided to file an online appeal to ny
i called my ct tutor mr yee to help me in the appeal

and guess what
today around 9am
NYJC CALLED!
APPEAL SUCCESS!
i took early leave to go home and collect documents...
then go nyjc to show them
then go back aj to sign paper
then go back nyjc to hand in signed paper
quite tedious LOL!

thanks mr yee for helping me in the appeal haha...

well, though 2 days, i thank my og 17, Jarvis, Leopardio for the relatively short stay in aj...

btw dam funny la
like so many ppl in aj appealed to ny
those ny ppl who aj a lot appeal back...
and were SUCCESSFUL!
the student leaders in aj stumped at why ny was so popular
teacher-in-charge also stumped
"Why these bunch of ppl downgrading to a school worse than AJ", they must have thought.
then aj VP also shake head
when she signed my appeal form
she must be thinking, "so many ppl left for ny, haiz"

Looking forward to the ny camp (dunno stayover or day camp) during march holidays!

Once an NYJC-ian, always an NYJC-ian.

Monday 5 March 2007

Well, within a short amount of time, my time in NY has come to an end...
(unless I get posted back, which 'experts' say is 5% chance)
I have made a record number of friends in just a year LOL...

I still remembered the 1st time I stepped into NYJC. I was quite excited, curious and wandering what kind of friends I will meet.

The first group of new friends I met was ppl from OG 36. A bunch of fun-loving ppl with diverse backgrounds from different schools. I will never forget the times during our orientation and every now-and-then OG outings...will miss them la haha...

Then, 1 week after our orientation, we were divided into different class. At first, I rejected the idea of OGs being spilt...and I was wondering how 0730 will turn out, for the good or for the worse.

It turned out, that, I will miss 0730 very much.

I will never forget the time we crap about various stuff, how we played PE together as one class, the jokes we shared, library tok-cock session and breaks together. How we endured boring tutorials and lectures...

I will miss Jun Jie, Claron, Clement, Jia Qing, Ken Khoon, Royston, Ankush, Ting Yong, Benny, Cong Shun, Guo Wei, Wei Peng, Harry, Jin Chao, Wei Zhi, Jia Jie, Hui Hui, Joyce.
Also the ZHSS ppl in my class, Tedson, Gary, Tze Hin, Khun Ying and James.

Haha...I guess when it's time to leave, you have to leave.
I made a decision to go AJ instead of NY,
and I must stand by my decision.

Thanks for all the memories.
Hope you all keep in touch.
Sayonnara, NYJC.

(I sound too emotional LOL)
