Beneath that smile...

Ok time to blog on what had happened over the past 4 days of orientation.
Day 1:
Arrived at bus stop near Nanyang JC side gate at about 6.30am. Saw Alex, my primary school friend. Continued waiting till Wei Sheng and Moses came at around 6.50am. Then we entered NYJC and met up with Gary Thong, Tze Hin, Kenrick, Gabriel Lam and Naomi, and saw other ZHSS ppl too. Then some of us waited for Si Jia before we proceeded to the hall at 7.10am. I sat down with my Orientation Group, OG36. Kept quiet all the way. Then Principal talk. then subject combination talk. And the first few cheers start coming in. I was in the Zephyr faction (Zeffy). Then after long time sit so painful finally move into the Ispace, where I first interacted with OG36.
Got to learn names of members, though I still cant rmb some (Sorry guys!). Played Wacko and so on. Then we went for lunch, and then proceeded with games. By the ti,e we went to the hall, we are tired. Then still must learn mass dance. So tired till cannot memorise dance steps. Then went home. The 1st day had been slightly sucky.
Day 2:
Met up with Kenrick outside the hall. Then went inside at 7am. flag raising. Then, if i rmb correctly, it was Faction Time, and we discussed skit to do for our faction.
Then, we went for mass dance again. By now, i was already starting to enjoy dancing.
Then it was cheer time and quality time for group. Played lots of games and cheered a lot. Then we went to Sentosa! Had lunch there and we ate stuff we brought from home and share with my OG. Then we played the number game, loser having to eat food (we were all full at that time so LOL). Then started playing games, competing with OG34 and OG35. Firstly was Dog and Bone, a diff version of it. Our group clinched the 1st two pegs.(the bones) Then the 3rd one, they change the rule, those who tap the person with the peg gets the point. Then i was called out and i was so happy i found the peg! But then, two tall ppl surrounded me and i could not escape.-_-" My OG rallied and booed them, saying they bullying small kid, then the game station master change rule again. We drew this round with OG35.
Next was count the no of fountains and ice-cream shaped trees. We counted wrongly, and got last. OG34 won this round.
Next was Treasure Hunt. We dunno how we did it, but we won the other 2 groups 3 to 2 to 2. Haha. Then it was the Maths challenge. Our group started off fine, prompting one of my hyper teammate, Visa, to shout "36 MATHS PWN ALL OF YOURS".Then we started losing some steam. Then it was the final question. I went up, quite nervous, cos 2 months my brain cell was rusting. Alex, my pri sch frend, also went up. Then the game station master showed the qn. 6+6+6+666=? I panicked , seeing so many six. Alex shouted "69_" which was wrong. We all took our time b4 i shouted 684. Got it correct!
and our team won again. Yong Zhi, a guy in our group, was saying "I dunno how we keep winning" Then we went to the beach, firstly played the Riddle Game, in which we won again :P then it was sandcastle building time, which all 3 teams got equal pts. Then the last game we finally lost. Then it rained and we huddled back to ferry terminal. Then got fashion parade. My group chose me to become model and i dressed wackily. Quite embarrassing but oh well...
Then after everythign settled, I walked from sentosa to vivo , (yes i mean WALK) with weisheng and gabriel lam. Ate at Vivo before going home.
Day 3:
Met up with Kenrick, Lester and Tedson outside the hall b4 going in. Then it was games time, we won some games, we lost some. Then was mass dance. Then was games again. Halfway, I left for friday prayers' and i came back during Faction Time. Our faction selected the dancing queen and king and then it was cheering comp time. Then it was dancing king and queen competition. Our faction lost out in both, but we are very happy even at defeat. Then it was dinner, and someone tried to murder me by putting a screw into my rice-_-" Then we played NUMBER GAME again Lol. Then went to hall. Then Faction skit. Abyss had spongebob and patrick, Pyro some witch, Gaia soem gangsters, ours is perhaps the funniest. Visa card advertisement auditions lol.
"Now, my sister is going on a journey and i want to bring her good fortune"LOl.
The "winner" was Visa, from my group. Name so identical lol. Then it was disco night!
Dance with my group like siao. Boy with boy girl with girl dance, Lol. Then went to eat supper with weisheng and gabriel. stopped by zhss and talked to shuqian. tot want to see sec 1 camp lol. then saw si hao talk to him too. then went home
Day 4: CIP! Lazy to elaborate, our grp went AMK to collect some $. Then one of our teammates fell sick and had to be flagged to a clinic. We had fun collecting la...
then ogl gave us some stuff b4 going off, so sweet haha
Well, it has been fun in NYJC, tmr lessons start, so yeah..
ps To those new friends out there, I am not that quiet and shy as you think LOL and I am no nerd:P

The 1st day of 2007.
Time to make some resolutions:
1)Grow taller :)
2)Make more friends in JC
3)Good results in exams (as always)
4)Learn something new related to IT
5)...
There are others, but I will not list them...
Yesterday, stayed up late for countdown party.
